Annabel is a commercial litigation and dispute resolution lawyer with experience in complex matters across a range of industries and legal issues. Annabel has worked on large commercial disputes in contract, building and construction, partnership conflicts, commercial leasing, bankruptcy and insolvency, trustee disputes, large and complex estate matters, NCAT disputes, and disputes relating to competition and consumer law. She has represented clients across the full spectrum of dispute resolution processes, including in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Annabel understands the need to balance legal analysis with a practical commercial mindset that is aligned with the best interests of her clients.
Prior to joining Buchanan Rees Dispute Lawyers, Annabel worked in a boutique litigation practice specialising in historical and institutional child abuse claims, with a strategic focus on mediation. She has leveraged the experience she has gained litigating and mediating against corporations and government bodies to work dynamically across a range of legal issues within a commercial environment.
Annabel has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Communications (majoring in Journalism) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
