Prior to joining Buchanan Rees, Karen held senior roles including Group General Counsel at IAG, Senior Consultant to ACWA, and Legal Officer at Beamtree, where she focused on health and safety outcomes for vulnerable individuals in care. As a former partner at a national top tier law firm, Karen advised blue-chip clients across healthcare, private equity, and energy sectors, specialising in fiduciary duties, professional negligence, and directors’ duties.
In addition to her legal career, Karen serves as Board Chair and Non-Executive Director of Sunnyfield, a leading disability services provider. Her leadership in this role reflects her commitment to enriching the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through choice and personal development.
